Jeffrey Schiller

MD

Jeffrey Schiller, M.D. is a native of New Jersey. He is an alumnus of Yale University and was an Honors College Independent Scholar in Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Oregon. After a year of graduate work in Developmental Neurobiology at Washington University in St. Louis, he attended the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School where he obtained his MD.

After a year’s internship in internal medicine he completed the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Residency in Ophthalmology and is board-certified in ophthalmology. 

He then spent a year on Orbis International, a flying teaching eye hospital on a DC-10 aircraft, teaching advanced eye surgical techniques as part of a team of 30  doctors, nurses, and technicians in 12 countries in West Africa, Turkey, South Asia and East Asia.  Click here to see the work of Orbis International. 

Dr. Schiller was a fellow in oculofacial plastic surgery training with Dr. Stephen Bosniak in New York City and Dr. Serge Morax in Paris, two eminent pioneers and leaders  in the field. He is a fellow of the American Society of Oculofacial Plastic Surgery, one of only 780 doctors who have met the stringent qualifications to be so certified. 

In 2012 Dr. Schiller was honored to have his signature extended lower eyelid cosmetic blepharoplasty published in the leading plastic surgery journal , Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Schiller has been invited to lecture by his peers regularly at major medical meetings in the USA and on five continents in plastic surgery to discuss his unique lower eyelid procedure as well as other topics in eyelid and facial aesthetics, including Asian eyelids and minimally invasive techniques.
